How does Thermage Work

“Over the next 15 or 20 minutes, I’m going to tell you about a non-invasive solution to help improve signs of aging called Thermage.

I will aim to answer some of the questions that are important to you in deciding if a Thermage treatment is for you. What is Thermage – what does it do, how does it work, what does a treatment feel like and how safe is it?
We’ll show you some results from women just like you who have been treated with Thermage. We’ll leave some time at the end so you can ask questions.

Let’s start with an introduction to Thermage. So, how does Thermage work? What exactly does it do? Before I go into how the Thermage procedure works, let’s talk a little about how skin ages.”

“To begin the treatment, the surface of your skin is cooled to protect the outer layer. Then, you will feel a heat sensation. This deep heating stimulates your body’s natural skin renewal process, which helps tighten existing collagen and form new collagen in both the dermis and the subcutaneous layers of the skin. Over time, sagging or wrinkled skin is replaced with smoother, tighter skin; improved tone and texture; and an overall younger looking appearance.

Each pulse lasts about a second. You’ll be asked periodically through the treatment how it feels to make sure you have enough heat in your skin to have an effect, but that you are still comfortable.”
